“Playful Purpose” – chickadee – “Flip”

Description

Perfect for gifts and starting your collection

My acrobatic little chickadee was hand-made from archival art papers and placed in a frame (12″ x 12″ x 2″glass size) under ArtGlass 70 or ArtGlass 92  for reflection-free viewing. This specialty glass also provides UV protection to assure decades of trouble free display. In spite of this industry leading glass, avoiding the display of art and antiquities in direct sunlight is always the best choice.

Seven hand-made editions in two dynamic layouts

I made seven of these gregarious little birds to increase your opportunity of adding one to your art collection. The papers used are predominantly 100% cotton. The dark background sheet is from Saint Armand in Montreal Canada. Its luscious texture and bits of flax add a perfect contrast to the smooth soft feathers of the little chickadee.  The bird is positioned to reflect its playful pursuit of food on even the underside of branches and while exploring its environment. They seem to possess a unique joy in all they do.
